Posting audio to a website involves more than inserting a link into a webpage or assigning it to a product. Doing it right manually takes time and is prone to errors. Doing it right, with an automated system, makes it easy, makes it fast, and eliminates errors. It also eliminates the need for an office staff member to be familiar with editing audio files. SlipStream accomplishes this by addressing the entire workflow.

Click-of-a-button product creationEliminate duplicate data entry and its associate errors Do you have an activity at an event that you would like to record and sell? Processing the audioChecking and formatting the audio SlipStream will do a thorough analysis of the audio file to make sure the file was uploaded in its entirety and that there is no evidence of any data corruption. It will then confirm the audio is formatted properly and, if not, will do the necessary conversion; it will attach the appropriate intro and outro audio files to the beginining and end of the talk; and it will. SlipStream will then link the file to the product in your store. |
ID3 Tag populationCompleting the MP3 experience Every MP3 file is supposed to contain meta data - data, in addition to the actual audio, that descibes the file. Without this information, your customer can not take full advantage of the MP3 file by importing it into their media play. Properly populated the ID3 tags lets the customer sort his talks by title, speaker, groupings, etc. This information follows the file into the user's MP3 player or onto MP3-CDs he might create. Complete this step and you complete the user's experience. Slil;Stream automates this for you. No one needs to do the work and there are no data entry errors assoicated with re-entering data you already entered when you created the product. |

Bulk processing100 clicks is still 100 clicks It's just a click to do it all, but what if you have 100 audio files to deal with? It still takes time and, worse, if you miss a click you miss a product. The same holds for attaching product and CD label images to your audio products. SlipStream solves this problem but permitting bulk processing on multiple files. Load up the day's audio files and labels to the site, choose bulk processing and SlipStream will take it from there. It no longer takes days or weeks to post audio from your events. With SlipStream there's no reason why all your audio isn't posted on the same day it is recorded at your event.

Intro / Outro libraryAttaching your identity to the audio Do you want to identify the audio as coming from your organization or it's event? Do you want to preced the talk with a welcome message, provide information about your organization, note the material is copyrighted, or provide a closing message at the end of the recording? SlipStream supports an intro / outro library where you can keep these various messages at hand. You'll need it for later in the audio processing workflow. |
